Visiting care and home care in Todmorden
Helping Hands have been providing exceptional home care since 1989, so it’s no surprise we’re the UK’s most trusted private home care company. You don’t have to take our word for it, though you can read some of our 4000 amazing Trustpilot reviews. Whether you’re looking for visiting or live-in care, we’ll surpass your expectations with our compassionate and knowledgeable local care teams.
Nestled in three Pennine Valleys in beautiful West Yorkshire, Todmorden has a rich heritage. Industrial growth saw the area prosper in the 19th century, as well as the arrival of canals and the railway; however, it still retains its Market Town charm today.

Branch Care Manager
I have worked in the health and social care sector since I was 18 years old, and I could not see myself doing anything else. I am passionate about delivering the highest quality person-centred care to our customers and mentoring carers throughout their care journey. I joined Helping Hands over five years ago because I shared their values and passion. When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my family and my two fur babies Alfie and Willow.

Other care we provide
High quality home care in Todmorden
If you’re looking for occasional help, perhaps for an hour or two a week, or you’d really appreciate several visits a day, we can mould our visiting care service to fit your requirements. Our carers will come to your home and support you with every aspect of your daily routine, such as housework, medication administration, personal care, laundry, and helping you to make the most of the beautiful area you live in.
24/7 live in care support
If you are living with more complex care requirements or you’d prefer not to be in your home alone, live-in care could be perfect for you. We support many people across England and Wales to continue living in the homes they love, by supporting their daily routine and undertaking practical and emotional care tasks. Having the companionship you miss and a friendly face at home is what makes live-in care so special.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Todmorden
We’ve never been a care agency, but does this matter? The answer is a resounding ‘yes’! Care agencies aren’t overseen the way Helping Hands are, as we’re fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales. This level of scrutiny means that you can be confident of the quality care we’re consistently delivering, via our network of 155 branches, all owned and managed by us.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Todmorden
Our carers are amazing, and we treat them as well as they treat our customers. We know they make such a difference every single day, but we’re not alone in that opinion. We hear amazing stories in our branches about what our carers achieve, which is why we help them to develop and achieve their goals. This includes building on their skills, offering qualifications, and encouraging progression when they want it.
