Home care in Southfields
Visiting care and home care in Southfields
When Helping Hands was established in 1989, our mission was to help as many people as possible across England and Wales live well in the home they love. Over the last 36 we have worked tirelessly to continue that mission, and we’re currently reaching out to customers in the Southfields area.
Delivered by our dedicated Wimbledon branch team, we believe that everyone in Southfields who’s looking for exceptional home care should be able to find it, which is why we’re spreading our reach in this historic part of the capital.

Meet the Southfields care team
Branch Care Manager
I’ve worked in the care sector for nearly 20 years, beginning as a carer in a nursing home at 18. I joined Helping Hands because of its extensive network, which provides invaluable support. I’m passionate about delivering person-centred care, and I’m committed to bringing this approach to the team in Wimbledon. Outside of work, I enjoy walking with my three dogs, travelling around the UK with my partner Dan, and tending to my veggie patch.

Other care we provide
High quality home care in Southfields
Our visiting and live-in care is second to none when it comes to compassionate care delivery. You may like some additional support to alleviate the pressures of housework because you’re living with age-related frailties, or perhaps you’d like someone to come in a few times a week to give family a break. Our amazing carers are able to support with every aspect of your daily routine, whether it’s personal care, medication, mobility support, or preparing meals.
24/7 live in care support
Needing more intensive support can lead to anxiety over someone living in your home with you, but at Helping Hands, we work hard to match you with your perfect live-in carer. Many people presume they’ll have to leave their home if they need a higher level of support, however that’s not the case. You can receive round-the-clock support in the home you love while remaining around the people and pets you love.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Southfields
We’ve never been a care agency; we’ve been a private home care company since we were established in 1989. This makes a difference because care agencies often don’t employ their carers or monitor their skills effectively, instead leaving them to be self-employed and manage all of the legal aspects themselves. This inevitably means their focus shifts from providing the best care at times. We recruit, select, train, and employ all of our carers ourselves, which gives us a level of consistency unmatched in the industry.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Southfields
Our carers are knowledgeable and professional, but that doesn’t happen by accident. We carefully recruit our people, ensuring they share our values of kindness and heartfelt care. We consider natural qualities of compassion to be more important than years of experience, as we’ll equip them with all the practical skills they need. We provide exceptional training and development for all of our carers, meaning that they are ready to care for your particular needs when they come to your home.
