Branch Care Manager
I’ve worked in the care sector for nearly 20 years, beginning as a carer in a nursing home at 18. I joined Helping Hands because of its extensive network, which provides invaluable support. I’m passionate about delivering person-centred care, and I’m committed to bringing this approach to the team in Wimbledon. Outside of work, I enjoy walking with my three dogs, travelling around the UK with my partner Dan, and tending to my veggie patch.

Other care we provide
High quality home care in Earlsfield
We’re not like other home care providers. Experienced and regulated, we go above and beyond to ensure you live as well as possible at home. Whether you’ve lived there for months or decades, you obviously want to remain there, rather than moving out and going into a residential home. We support people in many different circumstances, whether age-related frailties or end-of-life care, from an hour or two a week up to 24-hour support.
24/7 live in care support
Live-in care means you’ll never be alone at home – something that’s very reassuring for both you and your loved ones. Offering constant companionship, live-in care also supports your daily routine, whether you have high-level needs or just want a little extra help. Your routine is the most important thing, and we’ll work around you; we won’t expect you to mould to your care. We’ll also keep your support package flexible so that if your needs change, your care will be able to as well.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Earlsfield
You may not think it matters whether an agency or a private company delivers your care, but it really does. Care agencies typically aren’t regulated and don’t have to be accountable to outside bodies, whereas Helping Hands is fully overseen. This leads to a much higher level of consistency in care delivery across our entire 155 branch network. We may have grown to encompass most of England and Wales, however we’ve never lost sight of the values we were founded with, and still put kindness at the heart of everything we do.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Earlsfield
Our carers are carefully selected to ensure they are the right people for us. We undertake all of our recruitment, selection, and training ourselves, as we feel it’s too important to leave to anyone outside the company. Our branch teams and central training team also ensure that our carers have all the learning and development they need, throughout their Helping hands journey, as we want them to be able to face any circumstances with confidence and expertise. We achieve this by providing a bespoke learning experience for all of our employees, containing everything they need to carry out their role.
