Helping Hands have been supporting my uncle for several years now. This enables him to stay in his own home. My uncle suffers from depression and anxiety, which he has had to deal with for most of his adult life. Unfortunately his mental health has deteriorated much further since Covid and the lock downs. Sadly my cousin and I are finding it increasingly difficult to cope with his high level of anxiety and his demands. Without the consistent professional support from the Enfield team I don’t think we could cope or continue to help him.
My uncle is well looked after, his needs are always met, the communication is excellent. The carers and their manager are doing their very best for him, although he can be very hard to please. Sadly he doesn’t appreciate most of their efforts, but I certainly do.

Carers are lovely and very reliable. Mum who has always been adamant she didn’t want anyone in her house, is now happily accepting help and even looks forward to her care visits. Thank you!

I had been using another agency in emergency for a fortnight and it wasn’t reliable. A friend recommended Helping Hands/Homecare Enfield. They couldn’t have been more helpful, came round the next day to chat and by lunchtime I had a full rota. The three carers started the next working day and have been first class, kind chatty and efficient. My Mum is happy, well looked after and nurtured. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this service. My mind is at rest, having been her sole carer for so many years and now my own ill health putting a stop to that it is a complete weight off my mind. I wish I’d done it before.

Excellent care and support from Helping Hands with consistent, high quality carers who go above and beyond to make sure dad’s care is exactly what he needs. Dad has 2 main regular carers who genuinely care about dad, supporting him practically and also take the time to chat, get to know him and come up with great ideas to ensure add is comfortable and happy. Managers are great at communication with us as a family which is very reassuring and gives us confidence. Thankyou to Natasha, Britanee, Lisa and Tracy in particular
